These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Bible Word Study ("Scripture Studio"), a web-based Bible study application operated by BibleSoft Canada ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the application, you agree to these Terms.
By accessing or using Bible Word Study, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
To use Bible Word Study, you must create an account using an email address or Google sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
Bible Word Study offers a 14-day free trial. After the trial period, continued access to the full application requires an active paid subscription. Subscription pricing, billing terms, and cancellation policies are displayed at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.
You agree to use Bible Word Study only for its intended purpose as a Bible study and research tool. You agree not to:
You retain ownership of the study content you create (notes, study text, tags, bookmarks). By using community features, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display your community posts, comments, and shared studies to other users within the application as intended by those features.
Bible translations and commentary sources included in the application are provided under their respective licenses. These texts are for personal study use within the application. You may not extract, reproduce, or redistribute the Bible text data or commentary content in bulk.
We strive to keep Bible Word Study available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, update, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the application will cease, though you may request export of your personal data.
If your account is terminated due to abusive language, harassment, or any form of harmful conduct directed at other users or staff, your subscription will be cancelled immediately without refund for the remaining paid period. BibleSoft Canada has zero tolerance for abuse and reserves sole discretion in making this determination.
Bible Word Study is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. BibleSoft Canada shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the application. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
